can you add the 7th cell to a nimh?
I bought the 4200 mAH batteries and I like the extended run time but my buddies have the t-maxx my power does not match to there's. I was on Traxxes.com and i found a way to add a cell to your 6-cell batteries to make them 7-cell batteries. Traxxes states the you can modify NiCd batteries but they dont tell you if you can modify the nimh does anyone know if you can?

Yes, sure you can. Be sure to use the same size and capacity battery as the pack. Also, be sure that your motor and esc can handle the extra voltage of a seven cell pack.

The motor and esc does not act together. Although you cant go with a motor that teh esc cant handle. All motors can handle a 7 cell 8.4v esc but not all esc can handle the 8.4 v. I think all traxxas esc can handle the 8.4 volts. What truck do you have?
