you can replace it or you can go with the big block conversions or even put a o.s. 18 in it i saw some videos on the 18 and its pretty fast

When I first got my REVO a year and a half ago, this thread squared me away on what I need to know. Then I got a RC8 and a RC8T and hadn't touched the REVO in about 8mos. Well I've come back full circle and decided to show the REVO some serious love and drop a big block in it and pimp stripe a new Desert Rat body. The Big Cat looks good and hauls major ***** with the 21VG in it.

Thanks. My cats are badass. I was jumping the REVO and the RC8T in the front yard and I will tell you that the REVO jumps like a rock, but the RC8T frickin launches like a rocket and just sails like it's in slow motion and lands flat everytime with minimum throttle input. Dude, Truggys are so much easier to whip around the track than Monster Trucks.

installed and ran the os 18 today, 3 tanks into running it in and I must say its a freaking great motor, I put a 3 peice intergy clutch and 36 tooth spur gear and type "r" exhaust at the same time and I am really happy with the results.Have a FOC and sway bar kit sitting to be done yet.....Thanks for the advice.

hey guys, anybody tried changing the ROLL CENTER by putting the arm link in the lower hole?...if not try changing the stock set-up....[sm=thumbup.gif]this set-up is alot better than stock, you can push the truck in turns without much flipping..

you might be able to find one on ebay but as far is the os engines go there usually not cheap unless you get the cvrx but that engine wont work in the revo. Your going to need an os 18tm or a 21tm there the 2 that just drop right in
