Default What may be the problem? (E-MAXX crash)

I havent had a chance to inspect my E-MAXX in detail, but perhaps you guys would have good guesses to point me in the right direction.

Tonight, my son (6!) had fun with his emaxx.
Although he drives it very well, somehow he ran it into himself (legs) at full speed, fell on the truck (!) ... I saw the lexan body crushed momentarily.
Then he drove it again up and down our hill, apparently no problem

BUT

when I picked up the truck, I noticed that only the back wheel were spinning. front wheels were not "motorized" (if that makes snese - english is not my 1st language)

SO

what do you think happened?
could it be one of the motors?
Part of the transmissions / shafts?

I checked the "half-shafts" (connected to wheels) and they are all fine... I havent checked the rest of the truck

THANKS in advance for your thoughts on this..

ok i found the problem.

the axle/shaft under the truck toward the front (where there is an opening) snapped.

i will check part # in the explosions documents...

basically it seems that e-maxx breaks quickly if the throttle is pushed while the wheels are stuck... my son probably pushed the throttle while he was sitting/stuck on p of the truck...

Sounds like the front drive shaft let loose.

I believe the part your looking for would be 4949 on the transmission exploded view . That looks to be the shafts that lead from the front and rear diff's. Then if you need the shafts leading out of the diffs to the wheels those would be 4951X. Thats what i saw when i took a look at the exploded view . would someone else verify If i am wrong or right please.

I would say that your slipper is to tight. The slipper should give before the shafts. I would try anothet 1/4 turn out

SO his slipper is causing the rear two tires to spin but the front 2 not to spin... I'm so confused.

No it caused the motors to break the driveshafts when his son fell on it and stopped the tires. The slipper should slip before any part of the drivetrain breaks.

OK I have 2 phone pictures of the broken / missing piece(s)

I will post them here shortly (waiting for flickr to show them up).
Part of the problem is that english is my 2nd language - mechanical terms (slipper, shaft, etc) are totally foreign to me.

Will post pics soon!

THANKS!
