I know that they make a 3 speed for a t-maxx but not sure about one for the revo. Google 3 speed transmissions for a Traxxas revo

Why wouldn't you? It actualy just bolts in place of the clutch bell and spur gear. They took the idea from a street car and put it on a revo. Once it hits a cetain rpm, it will shift. I've seen them before but there not worth the 100+ pricetag that they want. Your better off stealing the gearing off a street car and then slapping it on in place of the stock spur and clutch bell.

It does a lot but I just would pay over $100 for it. You can get a full savage 3-speed(tranny and all) for around $90.. It's like havin a whole extra gear to accelerate through.

i'm willing to get it coz i didn't spend anything for parts and mods for revo since i got it except the servo case and rubber boot, but what keeps me hanging is seems like nobody can tell how good the 3 speed kit, if there's a warranty then i'l have it for sure.

I heard in the T-maxx's that the gears would be coming out of the tranny. That would be kind of bad[&:] But yeah, I would rather do a few hours of research and find gearing from touring cars and such.. Its possible, you just need the right stuff and some people to help you along the way. And also some math skills to find the correct gear ratio[8D]

Hey guys, I just got my computer fixed and can finaly come back to the forums again.. That would be nice if the Revo makes the 3 speed tranny, But I don't really see the use of the 3rd gear that much out on the track though.. Maybe in a big open parking lot but in a race track?? Na... Does anyone know anyting about this supercharger for the Revo?

it says something about the 3rd speed being external, where the slipper clutch and spur used to go.

they also say it is for pavement only, because abrasives will get into the works, and mess it up.
