This morning I put in my new p&s in my 2.5r Tmaxx that I got for only 45 dollars. Went to the Walmart parking lot, broke it in (went great,no probs.) in between cool downs I bashed my revo & nitro sport. Then took all 3 trucks and bashed the hell out of them with my buddies. sorry no video. Not only did I break in that p&s for my maxx. last week I did the same for my 2.5r for my jato.(did I tell u I only paid 35.00 for this p&s). That was a breeze also. I didn't even blow a single glow plug in either engines. I don't under stand these people who bash Traxxas engines, saying they junk and have alot of trouble breaking in, tuning, etc... I love em. And the prices. Talk about some good stuff. Just had to share.

People say they are junk cause 70% of them are.. then they get a real engine.. and go.. oh my that thing was junk.

Most of the TRX engines are bad (like mine, it came with a bad P&S, carb and leaked) Now after traxxas fixed it it seems to be doing okay.

I wouldn't spend the $120 I did on it again, since I can get a 18TM off of Ebay cheap, or a 18TZ for $150 or so.
