RE: progressive 2 or long travel for bashing?
I prefer P-2's with 45wt shock oil in all four, with gold springs in the front and tan in the rear. Some prefer tan springs in the front and black in the rear with 50wt oil in all four shocks with p-2's. Give the Long Travel a try allot of people run that setup with 50 wt to 60wt shock oil but I don't think it handles as good well let me say it doesn't for me.

RE: progressive 2 or long travel for bashing?
LT's definitely don't handle as well as P2's... I use P2's for bashing... they help with landings too. The LT's added more body roll than P2's with the same springs/shock oil. I use P2's with the LT springs and 70wt oil to give my Revo a nice suspension. It's rather stiff... but, I can drop it from chest-height ( I'm 6'4" ) and it won't bottom out. (chassis slap)
