Default Damn T-Maxx....

Got a T-Maxx... We swapped a 3.3 on it and it runs incredibly good... when it runs. New everything really, plug, engine, starter, tires/body/suspension, new servos... For some reason the truck runs great for about 5-10 mins... after that things get rough and the truck will eventually stall (w/ about 50% fuel left) and then either

A)Take forever to start again

or

B)Not start at all till the next day...

Any ideas? Between this and the Rustler I'm ready to trade the Rusty for a Tamiya Durga and the T-Maxx for a new Revo...

Sounds like u may possibly have a air leak somewhere either in the fuel tank itself, or in the lines. Have u tested the tank and lines for leaks? If not, then take the tank off, then put it in a sinkful of water and blow into 1 of the 2 fuel lines, if u see bubbles coming from either the tank or the lines or possibly both, then theres ur problem right there....If not then I would also check your gasket(s) and o-rings that sit under the carb neck, and on the backplate, and also check the fuel tank lid seal for possible wear or possible nics or tears...

Yes imo it is almost a must to have either a temp gun or temp gage to be able to monitor your temps with. Well If u know for a fact it was that hot, then u need to immediately richen it(turn counterclockwise); do that first on the high speed needle, then the low speed needle. 1/4 to 1/8 turn at a time. But I would still also check for air leaks as I mentioned above....
