hey guys new here i have a 2.5 tmaxx i was wondering what is a good pipe and filter to get for it i was looking at a motor saver filter and traxxas tuned pipe i would like some opinions

as far as pipes go you could look into the THS pipe or Trinity, the traxxas resonator is decent as well.

Just sold my TRX 2.5 engine and I used the Traxxas blue anodized pipe, it wheelies easy and has tons of top-end. Want to run the coolest, get a Crazy Nut Racing cooling head like in the picture. My temps using the Crazy Nut head was just sick!

The Traxxas blue anodized pipe is a great pipe the TRX 2.5, back when I first got my T-Maxx I upgraded from that plastic stock pipe to the blue anodized pipe. It really is a great pipe that will work well, sometimes you just have to make a leap of faith and go with your gut. Take your time gathering info, ask people what pipe worked for their TRX 2.5. I used the blue anodized pipe (for my TRX 2.5) from Traxxas and ran very well for 2 1/2 years using that pipe.

sirio pipe for the 2.5....20% increase over the entire power band easily.

What Sirio pipe? If you are talking about the black tuned pipe made for the Sirio .18 and the Sirio .23 T-Maxx engine as a direct fit for Traxxas trucks, then you are out of luck because there no longer made nor instock. The blue Sirio tuned pipe was for the .18 and the black tuned pipe is for the .23 T-Maxx engine, even though they are the exact same pipe. This Sirio tuned pipe made my TRX 2.5 overheat and no amount of fuel setting would work, it ran very fat at high speed and very lean at idle.
