RE: savage wheels on a tmaxx
Well i bought the HPI 7" tall 4" wide tires and put on my maxx and i love the heck out of them not only do they look sweet they actually perform better then i thought and all i did was buy a bigger steering servo. But Make sure that your hex's are not plastic. One guy out here bought the jumbo kongs cause he has to be bigger and better then everyone and stripped his hex's so i laughed at him cause he waited for like a month to get those tires and the first time running them he messed them up.

They are awesome tires. They do great in the dirt, are surprisingly good on the street and best of all, are very light for such a large tire. I have a set that I use from time to time and can't say anything bad about them. The cool thing is that the Terra Pin tire will use any Maxx/Savage sized wheel.....so if you have some old 14mm hex wheels lying around, they will fit. Betcha didn't know that.[8D]

finally got a chance to test them out and surprisingly they really didn't slow the truck down in accel too much. Gravediggerracing you are so right about them being light! I am really happy with the way they handle and even the fact that for size of the tire they don't balloon, flex, or lean too much either!

mike those tires look sweet but how do they handle offroad? I'm still using stock wheels and tires and love them offroad but of course they suck on road. How do you like your rollcage? I have the same one and i'm sure it's saved me from some major repairs.
