that might be a little high, I run 50wt in mine
but since it is easy enough to change put it in and give it a try
let us know how it works

I'm new to the forum...but I have 80 wt and two steps up on the spring colors and it works great for me. I've got the .26max in mine and it handles great.

what would the symptoms be if the oil was too heavy?

Your Revo would not soak up bumps very well. Instead of the shocks compressing and smoothing out the ride, it would bounce off the tops of the bumps resulting in poor traction and handling. I'm using 50wt in mine. I wouldn't recommend going any heavier than that unless you want to use your Revo strictly for jumping.

If you are running that heavy of a weight oil you could also bend a shock shaft if you are useing the wrong shock piston. If you want to run something that heavy, then you would need #3 shock pistons. The only reaon you would need the shock oil that heavy, is to run just on street.

For all around then yes I would go with 50wt.
