Well, I own the ERevo and have driven a few Slash's. The Slash is a lot of fun to drive mainly because it doesn't handle so well. It slides around like a CORR truck should. The ERevo on the other hand, handles like a dream (for a MT). So, I guess it depends on what you want to do and what you want to spend. You also didn't indicate whether you race or bash. In general, I think the ERevo will keep you interested a lot longer. It will traverse more types of terrain and perform better doing it. BUT, double the battery purchases and be ready for costlier repairs.

I think it really comes down to what you like and how much you have to spend on the truck.

Slash $200

E-Revo $450

I would go with the E-Revo over the Slash anyday. I briefly had a Rustler VXL and, while it was a blast to drive, the handling was not in a same ballpark as a Revo. ANother thing to consider is you probably have some spare parts from your nitro Revo. That's another huge plus about having both a nitro and electric Revo is the exchangability of parts. It's quite a bit more $$$ but the E-Revo is quite a bit more truck.
