.40 Size twin suggestions
I'm looking for suggestions for a .40 size twin. I have a Wing Mfg. P-38 and "had" a Wing A-26 which didn't last long after a flame out and spin to death. So not I'm looking for a home for my pair of Saito .50s. Scale projects are preferred and I'd also rather stay away from ARFs. I don't see many options for twin models in this size range. Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Phil

RE: .40 Size twin suggestions
Bigphil, If you are open to a fixed gear twin, consider a DHC-6 Twin Otter. A lot of fun to fly and much more forgiving than a warbird. Short kits are available from a fellow in Canada. Check out http://www.johnsplansandkits.com/kits .
The 1/8 scale version should be great for your engines, and it might even be a bit over-powered at that. (My 100 inch span Twin Otter at 13 lbs flew on OS Max .28 FSRs.) I would be ordering one of John's kits right now if the import duties were not so high here. There is also a thread on Twin Otters at http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_42..._7/key_/tm.htm

RE: .40 Size twin suggestions
I actually already have a Wing Mfg B-25 waiting for a turn on the building board. I don't think .40s are going to do for it though. I'm planning on using .91 4 strokes on that one.
