I just bought one from a friend at a swapmeet. I know its out of production but are there any sources for the plastic parts?

If it's close to the Royal B-17 in size, there is a guy on E-bay selling complete platics kits and glass cowls for the Royal kits.

I dont think it is. This one is 104"ws. Its going to be a practice plane in prep for a DS B-17 in the distant future.

That is quite a bit larger. The Wingspan models 1/12 scale is 103". Maybe their parts will fit. http://www.wingspanmodels.com/Produc...FG/B-17FG.html

Wing Manufacturing has a 96" B-17 as well. Between the two, you should be able to find something that you can make work.

Good idea Terry. I flew it again today. Not quite so much stress today. The shakes only lasted 30 minutes or so . Got a list of changes to make to it when I strip it. Add flaps, fix the problems with the sheeting (got some delamination to deal with), glass it, and service the engines. Then I'll look into new plastics. Want it flying for next season.
