I flew it today for the first time. It flew great.
Great Planes 60 sized Big Stick, bashed to a taildragger with twin OS .40 LA.
Flew really well as long as both were turning, and not too bad on one if one keeps the speed up.
Sounds great too.

Pictures as requested.
The wing is stock, except that I glassed the center section for strength.
The total weight came in at 7.9# and the balance worked out just right.
I learned that seperate header tanks t'ed to a maintank does not work.
I got a kit for a duellist, but after reading about it, thought that I should get some twin time on a trainer before tackling the duellist, so I kit bashed the Stik.
I also split the ailerons so that I would have seperate flaps.

I would have done the nose differently, but I'm sure it makes no difference in its flying.
Looks really nice. Didn't know the GP Stick has scalloped trailing edges. Or did you add that yourself?
Bill.

Congratulations on your Twin-Stik. It brought back wonderful memories. I had one about 20 years ago. At first it has OS.25's on it. Not enough power so I switched to OS.25FSR's that had just come out. It still needed to hit a bump in our field to take-off. I had a lot of problems getting the motors in sync. Wish I had had today's radios. I was the first in the club with a twin and I still have it in the cellar. It needs to be recovered as it was covered with Fabricote, a faliure as a covering. I did get a lot of flights with it. Thanks for the memory. Good luck with yours.

That's great. My BigStik/TwinStik is the tricycle gear, I prefer that. Two OS .46 FX's for power. With the flaps, this plane will slow down for the slowest landing, although your flaps look shorter than mine. Did you leave the mount on the nose so you can do a triple later?

The nose is screwed to the firewall blind nuts with screws that are accessable through a hatch in the nose, so yes, I can make it a trimotor when the twin thrill wears off.
The flaps are indeed powerful, with more than enough aileron authority preserved.
The throttles are on seperate servos and seperate channels mixed through an Airtronics RD8000. They are nearly perfectly sync'd. It sounds really sweet. The 40LA are plenty of power, your twin 46FXs must really haul.

Yep, twin 46Fx's are more than enough. I spend a lot of time at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle.
It looks like your nacelles are similar to mine. Engine-out will likely be a non-event like mine. The first time it happened, I didn't know I was running on one engine until I did a fly-by.
