KMP 95" OV-10
Just got a email from Kondor on the upcoming OV-10 that was at Toledo.
"We will be releasing a 95 inch version in about 4.5 months. It will weigh about 18 lbs. with two Saito 100's. The plane will be equipped with our NEW (not the old) air retract system. The price on it will be 599.95 complete with all these goodies. It will be completely covered and painted."
Hows this for a twin ARF!!!!!!!!!!
I would prefer two stroke, what recommendations???????

Awesome!!! Some one posted that it was to be 4.5 months???so that means 5 months to save up lots of $$$$ needed to get both the b-25 and OV-10... wood work looks nice..perhaps only needs to round the sides of the fuses more....

Spoke with Mr. Kondor this afternoon, he is looking for input on color schemes, my vote is all Gray and the other is maybe the Dark Green and White Marine Colors, the Ctr. Pod will be Glass and hopefully the Booms, the boom construction is still up in the air, let him know how you feel about this project. Thanks...Don

1300$, price really took a GIANT leap!!!!! I think an ARC should be offered for those of us not able to save our pennies that long. Going from a builtup structure to FG really makes building easy but raises the cost to only the upper ranks.

As to the ad listing that air system is included would take a post from Andrew on the type and system that is being offered.
The retracts look really good but i thought that sierra and Century Jet was high, this would qualify for orbit. If i was competeing then cost would be no option. I do good trying to make IMAC this year let alone a scale meet or two.

The retracts included with the ARF will have Wire legs ( struts ), there is a picture of the units in the New Items section of the Web Site. From what I got out of the converstion is that Consumer Input is Important to Andrew at this early stage, we all need to let him know what we would like to see, it's a lot easier to make a change now than in the middle of a production run. I'll take one however it comes so what the masses want I'm right there with you, Send him a email. Thanks...Don

We will be including a full set of Air retracts with the plane that will have wire struts. I posted the custom set of retracts available from RC Crafters on our website to help them out and show all our customers what is actually out there. These are infact suberb retracts that are hand made in the USA. We simply ask that you contact them if you have any technical questions or you wish to purchase a set.
Our display unit will have the RC Crafter Scale gear mounted for display.
Hope that answers some questions.

Thanks Andrew for clearing up the retract issue, my mistake for not
noticing they were optional.
How will the OV10 break down for transport? The outer panels come
off?
