Twin-Air 45 and OS52's
Hi all. I am up to installing the engines in my twin-air 45. I will be using OS52's. Can anyone share some ideas on the throttle linkage? It's a tight fit, I had to move the firewall rearward about 1//4". Everything else seems to fall into place ok, but the throttle has really got me thinking. A photo would be very much appreciated!!
Cheers,
Greg

RE: Twin-Air 45 and OS52's
I thought somone would have chimed in.
Ok, I managed to work it out, quite simple really. I used a sero arm, with a brass bush, and tapped a hole in the mount. Similar to the Dubro 4stroke link. The servo will sit in the wing behind the tank, where I will make an access hatch. It is a tight fit, but all works well, and the engine can be taken out easily by dissconnecting the link from the engine.
Hope this helps somone else pondering a 4 stroke set up.
And for those with an astute eye will notice the pic is of an OS48, not a 52. I am using an old 48 as a template.
Cheers,
Greg

RE: Twin-Air 45 and OS52's
I am sure someone would have chimed in if they had experience with what you are doing. My Twin-Air has two strokes so the hookup was pretty straightforward. But I've used a similar setup to what your pics show on other planes and it worked just fine.
