Thank's!
If you see anything wrong with my build let me know! This is my first big project and want to get it right without to many mistakes. The gear is in the right place. I put it on temporarily for photos.
I'm now working on the wing Flaps. Got them set at 0 (of course) 15 and 30 degrees! Any Ideas out there on flap degrees? Here are some pic's

I have both my Mustangs set up to deflect their flaps up to 45 degrees. That max setting works great for creating significant drag without excessive lift, allowing you to have a steeper final approach (no tip stall), and yet not build up speed, or float forever down the runway after you flair.
I haven't begun my build yet, but I don't remember seeing anything obvious on my mid-wing and wing tips that would prevent the flaps from deflecting this much. I do know that on any plane with flaps, both the servo arms, and servo panel slots they pass thru, cannot be too short, or you won't get the needed travel to get 45 degrees...

Rip,
yah, going for 45 degrees I think is the right thing and intend to do the same on my B-25. According to the B-25J operating handbook 45 degrees is the max, so that'd be perfect. Also note that you should not lower the flaps above 170mph

I'm flinally catching up on the B25 after a crazy 4th of July week. Spent all day on the B25 got the center section somewhat together! Getting close to gluing nacelles together! It's very hot in my garage here in Orlando. The beer signals the end of my build for today!

PA757-
I also have a "Detail in Scale" aviation publication that shows the flaps at least 45 degrees in the down position. I am flying my H9 at 30 degrees and will probably leave it that way.

KMP arf's are NOT H9 easy. But, with effort, they come out looking a ton better then any H9 plane. Theya re also a lot more scale looking and have the correct proportions(usually..but not always).
I have the KMP ME-109 and it wasnt really difficult to build, but there were some things along the way I needed to adjust, etc.
I also have the original 85" KMP B-25 Im starting to work on and it looks ok, but I suspect there will bne headscratching as well.
KMP are not for novice builders OR for those that have trouble being creative if something odd should happen. Overall, they are good quality. I used much of the stock hardward in my ME-109, but threw the included wire pnuematic gear in the garbage. The new KMP planes dont come with those cheap Chinese retracts anymore...thank God.
I would not hesitate to build another KMP, but I also know what Im getting into. A H9 can be done in less then a week. A KMP will require more time.

Just got my B 25 today and everything fits great. After looking at what comes with this ARF all I can say is WOW. I got the retracts and wheels with mine and they look great also. For the money I can't see how you could possibly go wrong with this kit. Sweet!!!

If you want an advice, DON'T use the hardware supply in the kit, I bought the tigercat from kpm
and the hardware supply, like the hinges, screws, rods are really bad, all the screws
I used, broke when I unscrewed it and if you want trouble free with the retracts use a Robart valve

RE: NEW KMP 95" B-25
Hello All!
Well I have fun days of building followed by frustrating days of building!
Saturday was Frustrating! I got the mid wing and nacelles together and with the help of my neighbor hooked up all the servos and retract tubing to the control valve etc to the fuselage. With a new pump from Wall Mart I pressurized the tank, flipped the gear switch only to get one up and down cycle for the gear; and you have to flip the switch immediately! Looks like I have a leak somewhere! I think it's from the "quick disconnects" going to the control valve. So my next attempt will be to toss out the "Quick Disconnects" and go directly to the control valve!
While doing all this one of the 4 nuts that hold the center wing came lose and fell somewhere in the fuselage!
So I decided to work on the flaps, and a little more added frustration! With the flap degree indicator, all 4 flaps are "NOT" at the same degree when down but are exact when up! All are very close at mid flap setting of 20 but at full flaps they range from +/- 5 degrees at 40! On top of that the left flap panel is flush on the bottom but offset a bit on the top of the wing. Just doesn't look right to me!
Question for the pros, with full flaps, can you get away with unequal flaps within a +/- 5 degrees at 40 Flaps?
Here are some pic's

PA757...use a JR matchbox to set each flap endpoints individually to get all 4 flap pieces to come down to the same degree and it only requires one radio channel.
