Dear Thomas.
When do you expect your lancaster and b17 and mosquito kits to arrive we have been waiting for a long time and no one seems to know anything or wants to tell you anything.

MOSQUITO was pushed back due to global projects... ASM sells globally...
MOSQUITO still is coming...but you will be surprised to see that the ASM LANCASTER/B-17 will be arriving first.... that is why we have it listed online already... I will double check on the ETA for the MOSSIES!!!

Tomas,

Do you have any specs on the Mosquito? Span, length, and engine size in particular.

Thanks in advance!

Tomas,

also get ETA for the Lancaster and B-17, I became disillusioned with the mossie that was a solid promess by Global las year, I know it is not in your hand but you're our only link to Global.

Also will the fuselage be made out of molded pvc like the A-26 and the C130?

ORIGINAL: nemesis4u

THESE MODELS will be hopefully offered in the USA by GLOBAL HOBBY DISTRIBUTORS and I will be SURE TO BE OFFERING THEM ASAP! Bombers are in the prototype stages still... production and shipment hopefully by the END of 2009! This is all per ASM North America...

More to come as is actual/factually released... but... it is amazing ... not many would have believed that such beautiful models with details as these at 120'' wingspan would be available...
I have short KITS AVAILABLE NOW for the B-17 it is fiberglass fuse , nacelles with foam core wings/tail... no wood and with plans, no instructions.. these are 125'' wingspan... and cost is $699 plus wood, plus retracts, plus labor ,plus, plus..

These models will be a great value!

-THANKS!

last b-17 arf I saw was the cedar hobbies (now defunct) 78 inch b-17. Never lookked to good, lacked retracts and flaps and the canopy stuck out like a sore thumb.
I'm not currently sure how true to scale this b-17 will even be, I know that when Royal was in business all their models were true to the full size aircraft in terms of size it just depended if the builder wanted to add scale details.

I read the website and troll and fish all whats in there but the price read "TBD" for the gears and no one seems to be able to put a price idea on those...I was able to find some estimate of price for the planes in euros back at the end of January on a German website and an estimated price of 900Euro +/- @ 1,40us about 1300 and is now less.

Ok lets speculate the cost of those landing gears....my guess is $750-$900 for the Lancaster, $750 for the B-17.

They both have a complex mechanism, for example the (Robart) B-17 gears for the 1/9th Wingspanmodel B-17 kit goes for $815. I'm low bidding.

Maybe Tomas can biding speculation?

This is an awesome kit, my local model shop just got one in, its £680 + £250 for the retracts & £50 for the oleo's.
I checked out the contents & i was impressed!, fiberglass fuse/ carbon fibre..& built up wings...not a matt finish, more satin.
comes with scale spinners!.
I'm thinking this one over...btw, great full colour build manual [8D]
