Should a blimp have vectored thrust controls or conventional controls or both?
Also should a blimp be able to go forward and backward or just forward?

a blimp has vectored thrust for both forward backward movement and also for descending and ascending tailfin motor makes it change directions

Actually our small indoor blimps are aerostats, not blimps. FS blimps develop significant lift by flying forward, fast enough to make aerodynamic conventional control's effective. Our blimps don't fly that fast. so you must control with vectored thrust on the main fans and a tail rotor.
