Hey,
I am getting my vpp stuff in tomorrow. Tonight I was working with the servo and throttle for the vpp. I am totally new at this heli mode stuff and so far with my Futaba 9C I have got this:
At middle throttle the throttle is turned off. Above middle throttle is where the prop will turn the regular way for normal flight. When I pull the stick back below mid ways it will give it throttle plus reverse the pitch of the prop. So far that is what I have. I am wondering if I am doing this right. Also is there a way I can have a switch for this. So if I flip the switch I will have the setup above and when I flip the switch again it will go to normal mode where when your throttle is all the way back your motor is off and all the way up is full throttle. Please let me know cause I hope to be able to try it out tomorrow!!!!!!!

yes you can, set the plane up in the tranny as a HELI, this way you can set both the throttle ( revs ) and pitch in the relevant curves in the idle ups. read your manual on setting idle ups on a heli, and all should become clear.

Page 85 in the Futaba 9c Instruction Manual.
Its called "Idle-Up", controlled by switch G if you have a9CA or Switch E on the 9CH.
Flip it one way for normal, the other way for VPP.
