Default Radio Selection

I have never flown RC, but I would like my first readio to be capable of flying VPP planes in the future. What should I look for in a radio. I am specifically looking at the JR 7202 and the Hitec optic 6. I believe both of these are fully synthesized. The optic 6 says "Spectra synthesized capability". I gues this means it does the same thing as the 7202 as far as having 50 channel choices. Can I have some input and sugestions on what is the best radio for under $300 for future VPP flying.

Hello.

The JR 7202 will do it because it have the heli choice I don't know much about Hitec but if it have the heli option it will also do.
