Hi Crash.

I dont use Futaba TX but I know that any computer radio with Helicopter mode is good. You need to set it on the Heli mode to be able to use the VPP feture. If yours have it your good. Also what kind of plane you order? Because the plane need to be no more than 12oz heavy.

Yup, that is the radio I use. I've got an E-flight Extra260 with thier recommended set-up. The main thing to remember is to make sure you select Helicopter mode on your TX. Which is hard to find (remember), it is found in one of the two main menus....Parameter - Type - H1.

I have P-MIX1:

P-MIX1 >ON
MAS>CH1 (throttle)
SLV>CH5 (pitch)
SW>--
RT>+100
__>+100

I have switch G to do three different curves, I'm not sure if you can change the switch or where it is selected, but at the very bottom of the throttle curve menu (next page) you need to "Un-Inhibit" both IDL1 and IDL2.

You need to be in the right "Menu" for changing all three throttle curves. It is the same menu that you get to P-MIX1. You press the Mode/Page button to toggle from "Menu1" to "Menu2". I forget...the manual probably explains it better.

Normal (for normal flying)
Throttle P5>100%, P4>75%, P3>50%, P2>25%, P1>0%
Pitch 90% all

Idle1 (same as Idle2, but throttle is toned back for bench work)
Throttle P5>30%,P4>25%,P3>15%,P4>25%,P1>30%
Pitch P5>90%, P4>80%,P3>50%,P2>20%,P1>10%

Idle2 (full VPP mode)
Throttle P5>100%,P4>80%,P3>20%,P4>80%,P1>100 %
Pitch P5>90%, P4>80%,P3>50%,P2>20%,P1>10% (same as Idle1)
