More facts on DFZ400 #35
As I was looking for a good used Tx,I came across an ad in rc - uni classif. It was a High-Tec Optic 6 Spectra Tx and charger.
I had to buy all this guys stuff to get it but thats ok with me because he included a DF Z-400 that had a bazillion up-grades and is only
seven month old and only flown acouple of times...Once by a hobby store for a check out befor he flew it. Could be a pig in a polk but I'm hopeing for the best.take a look at the list and tell me if the whole thing was worth the $300.oo + shipping
Walkera Z-400 # 35

Hitec-tec Ele 6 micro rec.
Esson brushless motor.
four servos/micro.
Carbon fiber main blade.
Heli-Max mcro piezo gyro.
Cirrus MP-6 gyro.
Shogun tail and input shaft.

you got a good deal for that package.. the Hitec here cost almost as much as what you paid for the whole.. even though the hitec TX/RX and servos are made here in the Philippines they seem to sell it the same price as posted at the net.. All the parts are great event the Micro gyro by heli max really works good on micro helis.... shogun tail parts are more durable than the original walkera gears.. If he replaced them with the blue gears it will be a lot better the brushless have not seen one with that brand... I guess its new or its the type of motor design.... hope to see some vids flying this heli... It seems to be a good one..

Good, I havn't been doing this long but I'm a maint eng.at an old (100+yrs old) buewery turned freezer plant turned industrial work spaces. The whole place is almost a mile long and I take care of all of it. but I understand tech data and I learn very, very fast.
I thought this was a good deal and I searched the web and looked up each part and its price. I was amazed. the total was over $1,000.oo us
But to hear someone of your experiance in the hobby say that I did ok, makes this purchase even sweeter. I'm just going to sit on it for awhile. I figure that while still learning on the DF 40 I'll have plenty of time to learn how to program the Tx. I have two tail motors and two main motors on order so I'll have a total of three mains and two tail motors on hand for the 40.
These tail motors really piss me off. they burn out so quick, and when I used the LI-Ploy in it, (2200mwh) It smoaked the tail in five minutes.(#**@*#@#)
So I e-mailed hobby-estore and told them my problem, and reminded that there add said in very bold type "NO NEED TO WORRY ABOUT BURNING TAIL MOTORS OUT". yes it was a DF #40 advertisement. I told them that in one month I've burned fore out. and then said that I know what I wanted them to say to me but I'd wait to see how they wanted to handle this deceptive add of theres and the prob it has caused me. I really just hope they give me a box of tail motors and tell me to go away.I like my 40.
I'll send you the heli family photo when I get the Z-400 #35.
Always a pleasure to chat with you Soneebee. Have a lovely day...
Untill we chatt again, and we will, over and out
