The instructions in the manual are a bit off. Go to the function you want to set to a Hot Key and enter into that function, simultaneously hold down the UP & DN keys and it will bring up Hot Key options. Select which of the 4 mode keys you want to set as a Hot Key and press ENT. Now when you return to the main sceen, if you press EXT and the corresponding mode key (which you previously set), it will take you directly to the function. This is the shortcut or Hot Key. Not all functions will allow you to set them as Hot Keys....
For example.... from your home screen press ENT, then MDSET, then ENT, then REVERS, then ENT, then hold down UP & DOWN together - you will now see four options where to set REVERS to a HOT Key. Choose EXT_UPER, then press ENT. This will set your Hot Key and return you to your main screen.
Press EXT then UP, and it should take you directly to the REVERS menu. EXT will return you to your main screen..... You can set up to 4 different Hot Keys using the four mode keys.

I just had my trex 250 custom made and they put a Walkera 2801 rx in the heli. Do I need to go throught the same process of binding with this receiver like I do with my other Walkera 4#6, 4G3 receivers?

i want thank for all your Great support and Great site!
im new to this Heli Hobby , i just received Lama 3 with the wk2801pro transmitter, also own other wk model 53#8 by mistakenly reset the transmitter
last couple of days trying to rebind with Lama3 it wont bind, also i would like to bind with the 53#8 as well (2401 trans)
so far all the servos working excerpt the motor wont start up any help would be appreciated !

Hi to All
i having a problem with the Lama3 the transmitter 2801 pro it's not staple
i would like to know is the settings in the transmitter
the swash plate looks to eye pretty good level ! when it's in the air shifting a lot and it minimum action with the receiver and transmitter!
please someone can help me here! i 'm flying in indoor so far not so good!
