Default Raidentech.com....

Has anyone ordered from Raiden Tech?
I did, a Bulldog tank and when it arrived a few hours ago the box was all tore up and then when I opened the main box to get the tank out a couple wheels were off and the cannon was broken off at the tip.
The cannon tip didn't break from shipping because the tank was still all tight in the styrofoam.
I threw some batteries in the transmitter and a fresh battery in the tank, the tank won't power on but the red light on the transmitter works...
I called them right away and since I still have the cardboard box it came in,(3 hours ago) they told me they would have UPS come back and pick it up, when, I don't know. Tech support said they will call and email me when UPS will be back to pick it up and as soon as UPS picks it up they will ship me another tank.
I guess we'll see how good a job their tech support does for me...

sorry to hear about your Bulldog. I actually have one I may be selling. It has the metal tracks.

I am sorry to hear about your problem with UPS Delivery. I had the same problem (twice). Once with my M-26 and with my PanTiger. Both times I was told to ship it back. When I got the replacements, I still had problems. The BB Firing mech would not work on the M-26. And the PanTiger still had the problem of not turnning at the right speed. They worked with me to the point of replacing the (2) models I had to sending me the Smoke & Sound version. Of course the price of shipping the tanks back and forth almost broke me.[:'(] Respectfully, Chas. Rose

I ordered a Tiger from Raidentech about a year ago because they had a good price and there was a free shipping coupon online. Decent service, but I got an older model with an RX13 board and the bottom hull didn't have the metal supports inside like everyone else was selling. Bill and RC Command were just getting in the picture and I wish I would have bought from him. Keep him in mind for any future purchases.

Good luck with your bulldog... []

Well I got my second Bulldog from Raidentech, and it to does not work. The controler lit up but when I put a battery in the bottom of the tank, nothing worked.
Where the crystal for the receiver goes in the battery box, there was no crystal and when I looked in the square hole for the crystal, there wasn't even the two pin holes for the crystal.
I called them right away and told the guy I was pretty pissed off. I also told him most everyone on the tank forums says not to order from Raidentech because of broken products. He giggled so I told him that they aren't proving the forums wrong... UPS is picking up the second tank tomorrow and they will get the third tank in the mail tomorrow as soon as UPS shows they picked up the bad on on their website for tracking..

Sounds like it's time to move on to another vendor! How did you pay for the tank? If the third doesn't work, send it back and dispute the charge and get a credit. Hopefully this doesn't taint your image of tanking if this is your first purchase. Heng Long quality has improved tremendously over the past two years - if you get a newer model.

I guess now they are jacking me around. They asked if the tank was broken from UPS, I said no. So now they sent me an RMA number and was told that it may take 10 days for their tech guys to check it out, then wait another week after that to get a third tank shipped.
I told the jerk I could go and kick a hole in the box and then say UPS broke it. It's the last time I deal with Raidentech!
I paid with my debit card for the tank.

I've never tried, but can you dispute a charge on a debit card? Sounds like it's worth a call to your bank.

Read this... [] http://www.kiplinger.com/columns/fit...ff20010808.htm

I guess UPS lost the crystal as well... sounds like they checked and saw it was a debit card or something. Why the change of heart all of a sudden???

This should be posted in the regular forum instead of the war room. Not everybody looks up here. Be sure to tell them that their business parctices will be shared with everyone else on the forum(s)

Also, here's a link to the LA office of the Better Business Bureau and their Raidentech report... they got a C- grade. There's a link on the page to file a complaint with them

Let me say this one last thing about Raidentech. Don't ever order from these morons! After the second tank was picked up by UPS, I called to make sure they were gonna get the third tank shipped right away and they said "no" they closed my account because it was getting to be to much of a hassle to get me a tank that works! When they get the tank back at their place, probably this WEd. they will give me a full refund. Then the nitwit says, after I get my refund I can go back and re-order another tank... I"ll bet you can guess what I told they guy..

Ern, I'll have won once the money is back on my credit card... I think I'll go back to Matomart where I got my first tank from. They are $30 cheaper than the link you posted and besides with Matomart you can choose from 3 pages of extra overstock parts they have and they'll send you whatever you pick for free with your order.
I was a fool for not staying with them and trying to save a few bucks. Thanks for the link though.

I would compare the shipping costs before I made a decision between RCCommand and Mato.....

...and cheaper isn't always better even if it is a couple extra bucks. I played the same game that you are with Raidentech with Mato and my first Tiger. It was DOA and wouldn't even start up. Mato said that they would send me whatever part I needed to get it running, but I didn't have a clue what was wrong with it in the first place. Even if I was very familiar with the electronics it could have been a number of things, so I posted a question on the forum here on what to do. My best option was to pay for the return shipping to Canada, and I waited several weeks for it to return and to get the replacement tank. They say that they preinspect each tank, but I doubt it. Mine wouldn't start, the controller was missing the brass control sticks, and the BB pack was open.

RC Command does check everything that they send out [from what I've been told] and I haven't heard/read a complaint about them yet.

Here's a link to my thread about my dealings with Mato. While I wouldn't place them on the same level as Raidentech, if you encounter a problem with your purchase the return shipping costs are on you, plus Canada Post to the United States is slow and you can expect long delays. If you were in Canada I wouldn't hesitate saying that you should order from them, but as you will notice in threads here, a lot of Canadian tankers are starting to buy stuff from RC Command. That should tell you something.

Best of luck and I hope you get a runner soon!

Here's my experience: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_72...tm.htm#7228065

...and here's the thread when I received the replacement. Notice the dates on both?? http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_73...tm.htm#7393670

I had to laugh re-reading these because in one I actually said that "I knew I should have ordered from Raidentech" - obviously this was before RC Command came into the picture and believe it or not, Raidentech was one of the best suppliers in the US!
