I have had the Edge and the 300S, so I can't speak for the 300L. Contrary to what some think, I believe the Edge is a better performer overall. It has very little pitching tendency, and point rolls better than the 300S. Both have the same fuselage and tail group, with the differences in the main wings and the cowl. The Edge also holds a line horizontal well, with the 300S holding a better vertical line. This presumes you have both properly trimmed and set up.

It's all just my opinion, and I'm certain that by this time tomorrow, you will have more opinions than you know what to do with

Best of luck in your choosing. You can't really go wrong with any one of the three.

Hi
I'm thinking myself of buying one of this - I was looking at the Edge 540T in the Precision Aerobatics website. I love the color scheme.
Check it out https://www.precisionaerobatics.com/...spx?prodID=100
what do you reckon ?

i think you should look at the planes all three and decide which shceem looks better and buy that one i however got the extar 300lx in all white and am coveing it my self i choose the extra because i like them better and from all whom ive spooken to has had very little difference so little you wont tell so no worries

so my vote goes for the extra 300lx

I don't have an Edge (I love my Extra), but I hear that the Extra is easier to balance when using a DA-50 due to the center of lift being further aft. True?
