Anyone using Hitec 5625MG's?

Anyone flying their 28% or larger wild hare with this servo? I'm thinking about putting these all the way around and ganging two together for the rudder. I know they're not the usual 5945MG's, but I'm not going to be entering any freestyle competition with my airplane and they produce 130 oz. of torque at 6 volts.

They'll be fine for a 28% plane on 6v.
Here's a hint if you want to trade speed for torque. You can replace the gears with a set for a 5645 and it becomes a 5645. The only difference between the two servos is the gear ratio, change the gears and you change the specs.

Tom.
The 5625 cannot become a 5945, can it?
You must be talkin about the 5925 becoming 5945 if you change gears...
I've had nothing but bad luck with the 56xx series from Hitec. In cold conditions (below freezing) they don't work. I've had three of them, and all has failed below freezing. They simply change zero-point, sometimes to the servos extreme. When they are brought inside the house and heated up, they work again...[sm=confused.gif]
I have 4 5945 in my WH Extra Special. And they work like a charm

I'm not going to be flying in below freezing conditions. Plus, I asked about them before and all the problems associated with the 56xx series freezing up and what not apparently have been fixed. I'm just curious if anyone else is flying their wild hare with them, that's all.

One of my flying partners has the 5625's all round in his 28% Edge with just one on the rudder. He flies the wholly you know what out of it and has had no problem to date. I also have several 5625's on a 3D Seagull harrier, no problems at all. The only thing I have noticed is that the 56's seem to develop slop relatively quickly compared to the 5945's.

Sorry, my mistake. A 5625 cannot become a 5945, they must be the same series to start with.
I think a 5625 is marginal on a 28% plane's ailerons, you'd be better off changing to 5645 gears.

I would recommend a single HS-5945 for the rudder instead.
I have Hitecs in all three of my bigguns, they have all flown 100+ times, and no problems yet.
