Default Selecting switches, and placement of swithes...

Working on the WH Edge, I'm at the point of setting up the radio gear... I'm using a Li-ion for the RX battery, and 1650mah nickle metal for the ignition.... Questions..

Should I use the Mpi Miracle switch, or the MPI heavy duty /w regulator for the RX battery?

Can I mount both switches in the forward positions? and if so, Can I mount the Li-Ion forward of the wingtube (how far should the rx battery be from the ignition module... my rule is more than 8 inches)?

I need the RX, Switches, regulators (if used), and RX battery as far forward as possible. I have a Brison 3.2, and the rudder servo mounted in the tail...

thanks in advance.

Default RE: Selecting switches, and placement of swithes...

Since I always am trying to reduce costs to a level that my wife will almost tolerate, I use Cermark DSC switches at about $16.00 each for a standard installation. I have a hunch that both the batteries will be place as far forward as possible, meaning ignition inside the engine box and the flight at the back side of the firewall.

Depending on the voltage of the li-on, a regulator may be required. If so, I kinda like the Fromeco Super Reliaswitch with the regulator and switch combined. Adjustable voltage and fails to the "on" position. Placement of the switches will be controlled by the direct wire lengths. There aren't really any other factors involved in the switch positions.
