Default Stand-off length

What is the proper stand-off length for a DA 50 mounted on a 300LX? Thanks, Jared

Is the best way to get the 3.25 standoffs premade?

The cleanest way is to have them pre-made, my friend makes them for 25 bucks a set, but he won't be back from vacation for 10 days or so.
I personally used a 1/4 ply spacer as reccomended by Tom on my first Wild Hare, and it sincerley worked fine.
On my replacement I used the pre-made, and love them, as well.
personal preference.

I took some 1/8" aluminium and cut it up to make up my missing 1/4"

The 3 inch standoffs I got from DA were 1/4 inch too short, ergo the spacer needed. I'm curios how you got yours to fit.

The standoff's DA sent me were only 2.50.... I figure I will just order some 3.25" and be done with it.

Thanks Guys

I used the 2.50" standoffs and cut four 3/4" spacers and used longer
bolts. You can cut 1" x 1" squares from 3/4" plywood as spacers.

If you contact DA they will swap the 2.5" with the 3". Then you only need to make up 1/4"
