It depends on what you want to do with it and what you expect.
I have heard back from several people who say the Ultimate is fine with a heavier engine. Another person said he was not happy when he changed from a lightweight 50 to an Evo 58.
Sometimes from where I sit it's hard to sort out what is reality and what is conjecture, but most of the feedback I get is that for sport and fun the G62 will be a good match, for 3d it will be a little heavy, especially if you are flying at altitude.

Let me know how the cg worked out with the G-62. I just posted a question dealing with the construction of my Ultimate with a ZDZ 60 which weighes about the same as the G-62. I hate adding tail weight, but it appears that's what I will need to do to obtain the recommended cg.
Thanks

There's a whole lot of room inside the fuse of the Ultimate to move things around if you want or need to. With a G-62 conversion I would think about placing the ignition battery as far back in the fuse as I could. Perhaps even consider li-polys for receiver and ignition for a lighter over all weight. Having them on the tray under the wing could work well. Another option is to construct a light weight tray that will fit just aft of the wing saddle behind the normal radio location, close to the cockpit floor. That would require opening up the bottom of the fuse covering, though.
I know that Tom doesn't care for this and recommends against it, but placing a single rudder servo in the tail helps quite a bit. Of course you could place two lighter servos in the tail for peace of mind instead of one heavy high torque servo
