question about spinner for tom and others
Tom, I bought this spinner from you when I purchased my plane. I am trying to lighten my plane a little before I fly it for the first time this summer and was thinking about getting a CF spinner instead. Anyways, I was looking to sell this aluminum one and I wanted some info from you so that I can list the specs properly when I offer if for sale here at RCU.
First off, I notice there are lots of holes drilled in the backplate. Obviously a DA50 bolt pattern works, but what other engines did you drill this back plate for? Also, what size prop maximum did you cut the prop cutouts for? My NXprop 22x8 fits perfectly with plenty of room, but will a 24" prop fit okay. Thanks.

RE: question about spinner for tom and others
The pattern onthe backplate fits a DA-50 and the most popular 6 bolt pattern that's on most 3w engines, ZDZ, DA-100, etc.
I usually specify a Menz 24-10 for the cutout when I order.
Dave Brown has lightened backplates that will take a couple ounces off the front.
