Possibly, but the shipping from China will be more. They have already started building them, should be available from China in about a month.

Sounds great~
i would gladly be paying a little more freight charge.
pls kindly take a note of my e-mail and let me know by the time they start building it.

BTW, is the size of wing tube as same as the old 28% Extra?

Wing tube size is 1.25", same.
You'll have to keep track of when they become available from our web site, I don't maintain callback lists, too time consuming.

Tom, are the new Extra wings compatible with the current extra 300LX models? If so, are you going to have some wing sets available? I figure I am dropping so much on all this carbon fiber to lighten the load on my plane, I wouldn't mine buying a set of built-up wings to lighten it even more.

hi tom,
if you could let us know the dimensions and the weight of the box, we could get some idea of the international shipping cost.
thanks

Fuse box approx 65x15x17 inches
Wing box approx 42x25x5
Total weight is about 20 lbs, but weight is irrelevant, they will charge you by volume because the boxes are large.

Hi guys,
Anyone have the link handy for the thread that has the pic of the new Extra? Or could you be so kind as to plaster one here?

Tom, this is the first time I have heard of your re-worked 50cc extra. What is different and what are the specs on this plane? I like the lines a lot on it, but a little bit of different scheme would be nice. Thanks in advance for the info.

The scheme IS different, it's now symetrical which is something lots of people asked for.
It's lighter by at least 1.5 lbs, has larger ailerons, wider fuse and cowl, has an integrated canister tunnel, cowl mount on a cowl ring so no fasteners show.
