any battery as long at its over 1700mah and over, preferably 2000+mah if u want to fly all day, it dont have any advantage of running higher voltage to my knowledge.. Run 4.8 as i am, she runs sweet ass mate, you will love it, prime her right , flip that prop and Broom Broom. Like wild fire.. But as for voltage no need for 6 but if u want to run 6 do it, but nothing over please lol, or u will have a big Boom.

if you like to fly alot use a fromeco 2400 with regulator set it at around 5.5 and let her rip all day. fromeco batteries have been the best improvement on all my planes i have added in a long time and the are great people to deal with.
