The pics are great, seems like a good idea for the engine stand, but isn't it a little too close to the bed, I mean work bench? C'mon guys keep the pics coming........a123 battery and switch connections, etc......

Oh on engine stand.... I'm a paraplegic and confined to a wheelchair, moved it over their to get it out of the way. See the little T shaped bolt pointing straight down?, It does wonders on the knee when you cant feel it. Big scar is from peeling my kneecap back in restaurants where they have those fancy mechanical extensions to the table that pop up and lock [:@]

Oh and here a pic of what my A123 looks like a bit closer up. Bought a Dewalt pack and put it together myself got 5 packs for $87

Aaxis, where did you get a Dewalt pack for under 100 bucks? Everywhere I looked they were
$145+!

Also another question on A123 cells, anybody using these unregulated on the ignition? Since all the RCEXL ignitions seem to say not to use more than 6.0 volts I was a bit unsure of using them for ignition...

Ebay, it was brand new in the edge sealed plastic . they have quite a few people selling them still .

I am using this pack unregulated on the ignition and the RX .

no, you buy the 36v pack, it''s made up of 10 cells. Then you can break the pack up into 5 2cell batteries. Each cell is nominally 3.3v, a more when fully charged, a bit over 7v I think. So I was a bit concerned about the voltage level being high.

I''ll have to check ebay again... the prices must have come down a bit. I got one there about a month back and 145 was the cheapest I could find.
