Wren Supersport problem
My gas autostart supersport is showing erratic rpm. When initiating the start sequence the starter motor spins it up and it shows rpm but when it stops its showing 64000 rpm. The start sequence then times out after the 1 attempt, and it goes back to 0 rpm. Presumably it only attempts one start because the ecu thinks its running at 64000 rpm.
Any ideas what the problem might be please.

Probably a bad connection, or noise from the starter/glow plug wires. Make sure the RPM lead is away from the other wires and the connections are clean. Last possibility would be a bad sensor.
