Default Which plug?

What are the benefits of the YS plug over an OS F?

How long should I expect a plug to last, in terms of gallons of fuel (assuming best practice operation in terms of fuel/oil, average air temperature/11x7 prop etc...)

They are both the same, both made by OS. The only difference is the name.
Plug life is determined by the how you operate the engine. I have seen them go 50 flights, and others can only make them last 5 flights. If you are having trouble with short plug life, you are likely running the engine too lean or with too much prop.

Cool, I must be doing something right - I can't remember the last time I changed a plug!

The normal precursor to plug change seems to be poor idle & pick-up, would you concur?

thanks
