IF it is not working properly, the engine will not run.
The black crap in the regulator is from your fuel. If you leave raw fuel in the engine it will be destroyed. Run the engine dry and disconnect it from the fuel tank when you are finished flying for the day.

I bought this engine from singapore hobby. They told me not to run the engine dry. I do not know every body tell me something different. Kindly tell my the Pump plunger was stuck in a new engine. I feel people should not buy the 110.

You are entitled to your opinion as is the source where you bought it. We recommend running the engine dry after flying and it works for us. Any raw fuel left in the engine will draw moisture and cause corrosion.
Since we cannot get enough YS 110 engines to satisfy the demand, few people share your opinion.
Good Luck!
