Default YS low speed needle

Dave, what does the low speed needle do or should I ask how does it change the low speed mixture? The confusing part is out to lean in to richen. Its not an air bleed that I can see. I know in works, want I want to know is how[:-].

It is an airbleed. Clockwise makes the mixture richer, unlike a standard needle where clockwise makes it leaner.

Thanks, for the reply. An air bleed, it helps to know what it is doing.
