Dave,
Can I use petrolium based after run oils in my YS 2-stroke engines or does the prohibition against petrolium based after run oils only apply to YS 4-strokes? I been using the non petrolium based stuff on my 45's and 61's as well as my 91's for years and I have read a few posts online lately where folks have said the YS 2-strokes don't mind petrolium based after run oils (even though the 2-strokes still have the same silicone parts in the fuel regulator as the 4-strokes) and this distinction is news to me.
Just trying to get the straight scoop.
Greg

You don't use petro based oils in any YS engine, although it's not as big an issue with the 2 strokes as it is on the 4 strokes.
My advise is don't use them. Better to use no after run at all than the wrong stuff.
