Ive got a Powerline Edge 540 .46 comming in the mail.
I was told the all up flying wieght with a one pound motor would be 6 pounds at the minimum.
I need big power for serious 3D.
YS .63 YS1.10, Saito .91, Saito 100 ??

I have a YS 63 in my Banshee, about 5.5 lbs and is more than enough motor for all 3-D using 14X 4 apc. Have YS 110 in U Can do 60, about 7.5 lbs, almost tooooo much motor use 14 X 4 apc. The 63 will out do the sato 70 by a bunch, not sure about 90. Hope this helps?

I am no expert on 3D... but I know the YS 63 flies a 6 pound Pattern airplane with very good vertical. It is a perfect match.
But for 3D... The YS 63 would be good for a 4 1/2 to 5 1/2 pound 3D airplane.
And I would think a YS 110 would over power a 6 pound airplane.
I have always said to myself... why doesn't YS come out with an 80 size 4 stroke airplane engine?
(this would be a great for a 5 1/2 to 6 1/2 pound 3D airplane)
