Question on new YS
Dave,
I have a YS140 Sport on order ... I know the threads are 8 x 1.00, but does it step up after the threads, like a Saito, or will a 8 mm prop reamer/drill be sufficient?
Really looking forward to my first YS!

RE: Question on new YS
Thanks very much Dave! This support forum is outstanding - hope i don't have to use it
The engine arrived today (wasn't expecting it until the end of the week) so I guess I jumped the gun on the question...

RE: Question on new YS
Followup on the new 140 Sport...
First, thanks Dave for the YS stickers!!
First ran the 140 2 weekends ago, one tank, adjusted per instructions from the web site, , had no problems...
Last weekend, took it back to field, ran another 1/2 tank, made final adjustments, went for the first flight - awesome!! I am now a YS believer! Running 30% Cool Power Heli, APC 18x6 prop,
kept it a little rich - to keep rpms about 8600! I still can't get over the power this engine has...
Also, engine ran solid throughout the entire flight... more flights hopefully this weekend.
