I have a 110 that has about 1 gallon running time on it. It had been running great. I could not get it to run right at the field today. I changed the regulator gasket put all setting back to the book, still no good. It runs very rich and quits. I also noticed a little bit of a gray color when i took off the valve cover.

Might be something coming apart in the engine. Suggest you send it to service.
