Default ys 110

Good afternoon,
I have a ys 100 I am putting into storage for a while. It is faily new with maybean hour on it.
I previously asked you if there was anything special I had to do to store it properly, besides the afterrun oil.You guys suggested cleaning the fuel from the regulartor, which I did.
My question is the thin membrane that is the diaphram. Is that available as a separtate part?
The housing has a square protution on it,which way does it face when assembled? To the carb side or the prop side?
Thanks for your awesome support.
Mike

all the parts are available go here to see which version of the regulator you have

http://www.centralhobbies.com/Engine...110fzex.htm#73

The newer style is the diaphram and gasket seperate like the older YS engines. The pre 2006 engines had the diaphram and gasket as one piece.

The older part# YSE2000

The newer seperate diaphram version is YSE0730

Depending on which regulator housing you have will determine which one you use.

To my knowledge they are not interchangable.

The small square looking protusion is a mark to telll you which way the regulator housing mounts onto the engine. The properly installation has this bump facing forward.....It faces the prop.

Both have the parts. Central just has a online order system...

The reality is the price is the same either way. YS Parts and Service mostly deal with their repairs but they can sell you parts. Their biggest business is doing repairs and using the parts for those repairs.

Central is a retail outlet setup to supply parts for those guys that want to do it themselves.

Either way works and will get you what you need.
