Hey Guys,

Have a newish YS170 that has been completely pulled to bits after something got jammed in the crankcase and seized the motor in flight.

After the rebuild, ive have no luck at all getting the thing to run right. At the moment with the glow still on, its the best its ever gone. Remove the glow and anything below half and it stops. Put the glow back on, start it up and it will idle all day but remove the glow again, poof, stops.

Replaced the glow plug but still have the same result.

Any ideas?

low end is rich, lean out the regulator.

Yeap, too rich, set the high speed needle valve to no more than 1 and half turn open and try again.
