Default ZDZ octane requirements

What's the minimum octane requirements for ZDZ engines ?

I suspect in my country the 93 octane may not be available.

Default ZDZ octane requirements

I just found out that the best we have is about 90.5/91

Where do I go about purchasing a ZDZ 80 ? Is it
available online only ?

Also I understand that these engines require a little creativity
to mount due to the rear carb etc and I may need standoffs or
something.

David, advise what I need to look forward to doing before building the plane.

Thanks,

L

Default ZDZ 80

You may purchase on our website: http://www.rcshowcase.com

Mounting the engine has proved NOT to be a problem at all, and has the benefit that the rear mounted carb is much quieter because of its location. Sometimes standfoffs are required and sometimes just cutting a hole for the carb in the firewall and mounting the engine directly to the firewall is all that is required.
