Thanks Jimbo!
About halfway through the flight I could tell it was already gaining power, each lap I did it got stronger and pulled harder than the last. After some more break in it should really come alive.
Tony read the temp right after I shut it down and if I remember right, he said it was at 168 degrees, very happy with that!

Thanks Anthony, you're getting close yourself, I can't wait to see you get your Waco back up in the air.
Cool Eddie, I may have to plan my Lake of the Ozarks vacation around one of those events. I'll be going through OK. on the way up there.

Excellent job Gary....your flying skills are equally impressive as your workshop's ones!!
I bet your heart was pumping in your chest, but what a feel of accomplishment a great maiden can give to a Kit builder once everything finally comes together.
After watching your video I really feel even more energized for my final push.
Great Job!!
Fabio

So Gary,
Tell me something. Have your knees stopped shaking yet.................................. That is an awesome looking Jug have there. Here's to hoping that you have many flights with lots of sunshine and light winds.
Take care,
David

I got the low resolution video edited together in one piece. Edwin has a disk at the club waiting for me to pick-up of a higher quality video that I will put together this week.

Spent the last couple of days going over EVERYTHING. Screws, nuts, connections, clevises, horns, servo screws, you name it. I also ordered a new ignition battery to replace the NiMH 5 cell. I went with a A123 1100mah from Electro Dynamics, that should be here in a few days. The new battery is 2 ounces lighter, she was a tad nose heavy for the maiden.

Yes....... I will be there. Even if i have to walk all the way to Austin. Im going to try and be there before 10:00am if at all possible. I hope the wind stays here in waco, as it's been blowing pretty bad lately. I've got my fingers crossed anyways.
