Ok ive worked it out lol, the controller can only store 20 models, if u bind 21 it deletes the first model.
If u lock a model it wont be deleted when the binding limit is reached.

Only got 12 models, so i dont need to bother with it, well at least i know now.

DAMM DAMMM DAMMMM, ive killed the throttle on my reciver, it has no output & the controller does the dreaded green light flash... ive tested the controller with another reciver & it works fine.

Now i have the fun task of checking the ESC & RC Lights controller to make shure thay still work & havent caused the fault with the reciver........ GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR[:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

Ive stuck a 8.5 Novak System in my slash. It's gonna get street tires the new proline ones (Street Fighter Tires).
And Im getting her dressed up for a latemodel makeover. It's so dialed on the oval the truck deserves it.
After I had someone set her up for oval racing it's pretty much gonna stay that way.
Ive put money into other RC's, heck I just got a used 4wd slash as well that's gonna get a 550 ballistic/Havok Pro
system in it eventually. Im not getting the mamba monster, just makes things overkill and pretty much undrivable...lol
I want something smooth and easy to drive.

took my slash off the shelffor the first time in a year, dropped in a vxl with the speed controll, totally new truck to me,.i shredded the old tires only after a couple of runs.so i bought some street fighters and some jc concepts rims.i think they are called rulux or something like that.they rub a bit but i can trim the body ,to bad i got to dark to get a run in.oh whell.
does anyone know if the proline steering setup is worth the money?

Ive done some reading up on the proline kit, so fair all good. There are some complaints about the alloy ones. The big Wow factor to me is the adjustable servo saver built into the bellcrank, heaps better than the traxxas one that is a nasty copy of a kimbrough servo saver. oh and the way it is attached to the chassis with screws.
How's does anyones slash get speed wobbles in reverse with the stock bellcrank & servo saver like mine?

Well I got my titanium nitride coated shock shafts today & rebuilt the shocks, its now..
RPM 2 stage shock pistons, I put the green in the rear with 60wt and the purple in the front with 50wt, should land better with the roll cage on, & hoping the back will hold tight sweeping bends better.... can wait to test it... but... i killed the reciver

well Im running the traxxas link reciver that has a rclight brake controller then the esc.
My controller was flashing the green code for throttle range, I tryed everything in the manual....
Then i started to think maby the motor got to hot & fryed, or the motor fryed & killed the ESC, then i got worried that i only just fitted a rc light controller, is it dead to?
I tryed to getting it working with out the light controller, no change [&o]

Well today I decided to at least test the ESC, i tested it on manual with a servo/esc tester. worked a treat even on auto.... hummmm.
so i played more with the controller/reciver settings, i found if i changed the settings to a nitro car it had reverse but no forward, same deal with a servo pluged in it would only go one way. very strange????

Well I was all out of ideas so i reset the controller back to default 1, then it started working!!!! YAY back in action
all i can work out it must of been a software fault, dammm things, well at least i learnt how to reset it now lol

Nice! I just smacked my slash off a rock and now either need the stock replacement or the proline kit. ...hmmmm Probably just gonna have to wait for a lil bit of money and go proline.

I got sick of the dodgy power packs failing for the imax chargers, thay only provide 5amps max & when doing a 5amp charge the power pack would S**t it self....

So i ordered a 30amp power supply & a Switch/socket & a power cable.

after a little bit of cutting, filing & wiring I got the power switch mounted on the power supply.
Now I can easly charge 2 batterys with 2 chargers at 5amps each with out any problems, Later on down the track I can wire up another 2 charger to charge 5 batterys. well providing that 7amps is all the chargers draw, ill doubble check this later with a multimeter.

Well what do u think of this for a charging station??? 30amp power supply & a Imax B5 & a Imax B6

Maybe they finally figured out that a Slash wasn't really a "race" truck after all, and got themselves a real truck.
