I'm at the back of the range too and is still a bit nose heavy - I used the balance rig and with a full UAT and about 1" of fuel in the main tank it would just start to tip to the tail when suspended by the rig, In fact I was just checking the CG from moving my ECU battery back in an inverted 45 degree upline when my flameout occurred. Just before it flamed out I was saying to myself that CG seemed about right in that I wasn't pushing any down elevator to keep the 45 level. Now with using a separate UAT mounted behind the main tank I suspect it will move back a bit more. I'll post feedback and a final number after I get to fly it next weekend with the fuel system mods.

They only have one intairco, and it's huge with built in telemetry.
Not keen on the other canister ones because they are not clear, use a felt type filter, and I believe they are built to order and have a lead time of 5-7 days. I was able to order one through intairco direct with Express EMS shipping for the same price as an appropriate one from DreamWorks, and it's already shipped.

Finally got around to setting the radio up. The flaps have a fairly bad flutter at mid flaps. I know what causes it, just wondering if anyone else sees a similar thing happening, and if it concerns you.
Mechanically, they are kinda poorly set up, with mechanical advantage almost favoring the flap surface over the servo. There is also play in the linkage.
Running straight 2s lipo ain't helping either...
I know they won't do this in the air, but I think I will get some shorter arms and new ball ends.

Thanks, but already ordered the intairco.
Turned out the ball links were hella loose. Replaced them and also moved the ball link to the inner hole and had plenty of throw for factory recommended flaps. I also set up 3mm of reflex in the ailerons for landing flaps.
I'm thinking about running just the 4.6L tank with my 170. I am guesstimating that I'll consume an average of about 400-450ml/min(max is rated at 535ml and 90% throttle is claimed to be about 400ml). I think I should be good for 8 minutes easy, and I usually only fly around 6 minutes.

Just picked up a Predator 2.2m here in Australia - going with a K140 for power
What servos other than the recommended Pilot Servos have owners been using in their builds?
Cheers

On my page. My friend took the vids and added them as comments here (take space away between face and book)

thanks Mike. I am running 3mm of crow now, and factory recommended landing flap. It landed fine for a first landing, but was a little fast due to still having a half tank of fuel, and not knowing it's stall characteristics. First flight informed me this is a VERY forgiving airframe. I will try more flaps and more crow. Are you going to AZ jets?
