So yesterday i was jumping with the stock wheelie bar and i kinda broke the battery holder , i fixed it but i dont know for how long it will hold.
the next time it brakes iam going to take the battery holder out and replace it with the some other part that came with my jato.
BUT I TRIED TO PUT THE BATERIS INTO OTHER PLACE MABY SOME ONE KNOWS WHAT BETTERIE SHOULD I USE ?? I PREFER IT FOULD BE RECHARGIBLE AND I WOULD NOT HAVE TO TAKE SOME PARTS OF TO TAKE OUT AND PUT IN THE BATTERIES, BECAUSE THAT THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE TO TAKE SOME PARTS BUT IAM A LAZZY BUT

RE: Official Traxxas Jato 3.3 Thread
hey, i am havingproblems keeping my jato running, performing, and idling smooth.
at idle it could be fine and then all of a sudden i t goes wacko and starts acting like its a full throttle.
that or i will barely adjust the throttle trim on the controller from where it was fine(adjusted to try and get power) and then it does the previous mentioned.
and when it runs smooth it will be sluggish and not performing.
on the rarity when it does run fine its at like 250-260 cylinder head temp. is this good as long as there is blue smoke?
when you adjust the idle is it being turned down while going clockwise or counter?
so i would like some tips on the whole deal.

I have a jato 3.3 and my first 3 upgrades were the RPM A-arms, the 2.8 inch talon pre glued tires, and a 22 tooth clutch bell

now why did u get a 22 tooth clutch bell and was it a direct mount?

more teeth means more top speed dude...he raised his speed with the clutch bell and yes it is a direct fit but make sure your spur gears meshes well with it or you are screwed

well dude the jato 3.3 STOCK averages about 65 mph and to get more acceleration get a smaller tooth clutch bell or i believe a single chamber tuned pipe

if u get the larger talon tires which are larger and require more power to move the 22 tooth clutch bell will put less strain on the engine and tranny gears. and the 22 tooth is 2 less than stock and will work with the stock bearings. it will also be flush with the spur gear although you may have to adjust the engine mount slightly.

RE: Official Traxxas Jato 3.3 Thread
ruajon, i seen ur other posts about getting the integy shocks. the integy shocks will perform better but the actual use for the piggyback shocks with the resuvoir is to get rid of 4 of the shocks on the T-MAXX and other models with similar suspension. I just put 40 WT silicone shock oil in it and it stiffened up the suspension. Also for better suspension travel mount your front and rear shocks on the inner-most holes on the shock towers.
