just get the traxxas resonator tuned pipe (dual chamber) and the pre glued talon tires on the stock rims. both of these upgrades can be found at your local hobby shop and plus you would not have to pay shipping.

Seems like it. 40 bucks for all 4 shocks. for aluminum that is pretty good. check out the stock revo shocks they are very durable and they are aluminum but i dont know what they cost whichever is cheaper out of the two i would get. and when you get them fill them with 40 wt silicone shock oil. the oil is about 5 bucks.

to take off the carb there is a nut at the base of the carb toward the front end of the truck. just loosen it and pull the carb off.

also...because my jato is 75% aluminum its heavier and tends not to have front end lift(dont be fooled its STILL way fast). while youre poppin wheelies, im launching off 8 foot mounds of dirt, without a scratch.[>:]

another question,

on the jatos wiring system infront of the antennae base there is a slot for soemthing?

is this for charging the battery? if so, is that why on the stock wiring system there is another wire?

do i simply run the other wire through this slot and buy the opposite plug to charge? so that when i need to charge the rechargeable battery that i can just plug this wire in?

this was very confusing but please help.

use harder springs in the back and front, 40wt oil, and mount the shocks on the innermost positions. and that is exactly what that slot and extra wire are for, just put it through and buy a revo or t-maxx charger for it. you dont even have to buy a battery pack, just buy four energizer or duracell rechargable batteries and put them in the stock battery harness. that is what I do. do not try to charge regular batteries though, because they will blow up and melt ur plastic.
